Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Lipstick Society account, and what happens to your data when you do.

How to delete your account

From the app or website: Log in, then go to Settings → Delete Account, and confirm on the page that follows.

From a browser, without the app installed: Visit https://lipsticksocietybd.com/member/login, log in with your email and password, then go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately -- you won't be able to log in with that account again.

What gets deleted

Once your account is deleted:

• You are logged out of every device immediately.
• You can no longer log in with your old email and password.
• Your email address is freed up -- you (or anyone else) can register a brand new, completely separate account with the same email afterward.

What we keep, and why

Your job applications, event enrollments, posts, comments and membership history are kept on record after deletion, but only for our own accounting and audit purposes -- nobody, including you, can access or use them through your account again. We do this so that business records (such as a completed job application or a paid membership) stay accurate.
